Lecture with Nicholas Knisely: Image-Bearers in an Age of Algorithms

Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 3:30 PM until 4:30 PMCentral Daylight Time UTC -05:00

Join us online or on campus in Hamilton Hall (Samuel Lloyd Forum) for a lecture by the Rt. Rev. Nicholas Knisely entitled “Image-Bearers in an Age of Algorithms.” The lecture explores how Christians can engage AI without surrendering what makes us human: relationship, wisdom, and the imago Dei. The lecture will name real risks—from bias to AI-fueled isolation and “sycophantic” chatbots—while charting practical, pastoral ways to use these tools to serve people, not replace them.

Use the form below to register for the livestream of this on-campus lecture. This event is free and open to the public. All are encouraged to attend either on campus or online.
